Shane McMahon’s exit from WWE

Shane’s absence on WWE TV lately has not gone unnoticed. Earlier this year, he had turned on his friend The Miz. They went up against each other in WrestleMania 35 in a steel cage match, where Shane emerged victoriously. Soon after, he kicked off a feud with Roman Reigns and defeated him at Super ShowDown with some help from Drew McIntyre. Shane also got into a dispute with Kevin Owens, who delivered a pipebomb on Shane. Owens accused Shane of putting himself over much more talented Superstars. The two went up against each other at SummerSlam 2019, with Owens’ job on the line. Owens emerged victoriously. But that did not end the feud. The two faced off each other in a ladder match on SmackDown during its premiere on Fox. Shane was fired after he lost the match, as per the match stipulation.
