WWE News: Wrestler Jake Atlas has reportedly been signed

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) are about to sign Jake Atlas, reports suggest. Atlas is openly gay and this will be second time WWE is signing an openly gay superstar since Darren Young, who was popular for his part in Nexus group. Atlas will reportedly join WWE Performance Centre in January.

Atlas boldly informed Stephanie McMahon about his dream

Jake Atlas, real name Kenny Marquez, was a part of a reality show in 2018 when he met Stephanie McMahon on its set. Atlas openly informed Stephanie about his sexual orientation and his desire to be a WWE Superstar. Atlas was persistent eugh to send Stephanie an E-mail asking her about WWE tryouts and surely eugh, Chief Brand Officer of WWE replied.

Multiple wrestling news ncies are w reporting that Atlas has signed with company and will be joining WWE Performance Center in January of 2020. It is also reported that Jake was seen at Friday Night SmackDown Premiere on October 4. It has also been reported that Jake was approached by WWE's rival promotion, All-Elite Wrestling (AEW), but he was t offered a proper contract.

Atlas has had a career that has been full of impact in Independent wrestling promotions across United States. He has performed at popular wrestling promotions like Defy Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Guerilla. He was also "Sourn California Rookie of Year" in 2017. superstar's highlight reel is embedded below. Jake is t first LGBTQ talent to have stepped into WWE ring. Popular superstars like Sonya Deville, Darren Young, Chris Kanyon, Rosa Mendes have also come out as part of LGBTQ community.
