WWE Clash at the Castle Predictions: Will the Scottish wrestlers in action stand tall?
Clash at the Castle: Match Card:
- World Heavyweight Championship -- Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
- Undisputed WWE Championship -- Cody Rhodes (c) vs. AJ Styles ("I Quit" match)
- WWE Women's Championship -- Bayley (c) vs. Piper Niven
- WWE Women's Tag Team Championship -- Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill (c) vs. Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark vs. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn
- Intercontinental Championship -- Sami Zayn (c) vs. Chad Gable
Clash at the Castle Predictions
- Priest vs McIntyre: Since Judgement Day is barred from ringside, the advantage stands with Drew as he can make use of it. Priest will not back down. As much as the fans would like to see Priest on the championship page, he hasn't done anything to be a workhorse champion, which the big Gold 2.0 title was meant for. This could be the moment for McIntyre and doing it in front of his home crowd will be a feel-good moment.
Our Pick: Drew McIntyre
- Rhodes vs Styles: Given the stipulation, it kind of gives away an idea of who will emerge victorious. Given that Rhodes has a never-say-die attitude, it is obvious that the championship will be retained. but after the absolute classic they produced at Backlash in Lyon, France, it will keep the fans hooked, and the O.C. interruptions will make it spicier.
Our Pick: Cody Rhodes

- Bayley vs. Piper Niven: Piper Niven is getting the push she deserves as she has proved herself to be a powerhouse women's wrestler. She certainly holds a size advantage over Bayley, but given that both are veterans in the wrestling realm, expect it to be a solid wrestling bout. Chelsea Green could add up to the moment if she will be present at ringside for the match.
Our Pick: Bayley
- Zayn vs Gable: The Alpha Academy breakup has been heavily teased in recent shows, and expect it to happen at Clash the Castle when Otis could snap and attack his Master Gable. But for that, Sami needs to win, but not in a clean fashion, as Otis could mistakenly take out Chad, giving the champ the advantage.
Our Pick: Sami Zayn
- Belair & Cargill vs Baszler & Stark vs Fyre & Dawn: The WWE may continue with the build of Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair as they are two powerhouses who look well settled in the women's tag team division. There is absolutely no need to take away the titles from them at this point, and we do not see it happening at COTC.
Our Pick: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair
