WWE Preview Special: Two Royal Rumble competitors revealed as Triple H makes MITB announcement

WWE Preview Special saw a couple of superstar appearances while also making a couple of announcements, which include the addition of a new International show.

The WWE opened the new year with a big bang as they made waves during the RAW Day 1. One of the biggest surprises was to see The Rock making his return to the red brand and take down the returning Jinder Mahal. But that was not it, as Triple H had another announcement on the plate for Thursday. The Chief Content Officer made a colossal revelation at WWE's Preview Special. Moreover, to add more fuel to the upcoming Royal Rumble PLE, the WWE revealed two new Rumble opponents in the show.

Two Rumble opponents disclosed during the Preview Special 

With the Royal Rumble not being that far from now, the build-up will officially begin at the beginning of the month. While CM Punk and Cody Rhodes have already declared themselves for the Rumble, they revealed two fresh additions during the Preview Special hosted by the WWE. Shinsuke Nakamura was announced for the Men's Royal Rumble, while Becky Lynch was the second name. Lynch will be a part of the Women's Rumble match alongside Nia Jax, Chelsea Green and Bayley.

Triple H makes a major Premium Live Event announcement

The WWE's preview special was all about what could happen in 2024, and the Connecticut-based promotion added an International Premium Live Event to its already brimming sack of shows. Throughout 2023, WWE presented some incredible shows in international regions, be it Backlash in Puerto Rico or the Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales. They have added another show, as the Money In The Bank is set to take place outside the US.

The Money In The Bank will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. HHH revealed that three shows will take place in Toronto. SmackDown will take place a night before MITB, and NXT Heatwave the day after the PLE.
