WWE: Prichard named SmackDown’s executive director, replaces Bischoff
Earlier, Triple H revealed that Bruce Prichard will be replacing Eric Bischoff as WWE SmackDown’s Executive Director. Prichard will be replacing Eric Bischoff.

At a special preview edition of WWE Backstage, COO Triple H made some huge announcements. One of them was about the new SmackDown Executive Director. At the show, Triple H revealed that Bruce Prichard will be replacing Eric Bischoff as SmackDown’s Executive Director. Talking at the show The Game said that Bischoff is no longer a part of WWE and he expressed his excitement of working with Prichard.

Triple H then praised Prichard and his 40-year-long career and said that he believes that Prichard will take SmackDown to the realm it needs to be on. Triple H then called this decision a great move by the company and claimed that Prichard will do amazing things in the role. He then revealed that Prichard has already taken over the position and is already making big moves for SmackDown. The game said that Prichard was working behind the scenes when the decision to trade Cross and Bliss was going on.

According to the official website of WWE, Prichard will oversee all the work related to the creative development of SmackDown on FOX. He will take over all the work of former director Eric Bischoff and ensure integration across all lines of business. Prichard has a 40-year experience in sports-entertainment and has worked with multiple creative departments. In his career, Prichard has worked as an announcer, on-screen personality, producer and an agent. This year, Prichard returned to WWE and joined the creative department of the company.

WWE: Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross moved back to SmackDown
Apart from announcing the new executive director of SmackDown, Triple H also revealed that the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have been officially traded to SmackDown. In the recently concluded WWE Draft, the duo was drafted to WWE RAW, but now both will be moving back to SmackDown. Both Bliss and Cross later expressed their excitement via Twitter. WWE COO Triple H joined host Renee Young, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, Christian and Paige at a special preview edition of WWE Backstage to make these huge announcements.
