Seth Rollins had recently lost his WWE Universal title to Bray Wyatt ‘The Fiend’ and the former is clearly shattered for that. Rollins fought a tremendous battle with Brock Lesnar for getting the Universal Championship belt around his waist and he proudly defended it against ‘The Fiend’ in their first encounter but the second encounter did not go well for ‘The King Slayer’. Rollins claimed to a leading American media daily that he doesn’t know what's next for him but it seems that he has finally fixed his target, and to everyone’s shock it is the WWE NXT title.
WWE RAW: Seth Rollins wants to defeat Adam Cole for NXT title
After getting a taste of Triple H’s recent tactics on Monday Night RAW, Rollins confronted him at the backstage. Seth Rollins clearly didn't like Triple H’s move of bringing NXT fighters to attack him and 'The King Slayer' directly targeted NXT champion Adam Cole for his belt on RAW. According to the former Universal Champion, he is not someone like Daniel Bryan, he is Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins and he would surely defeat Adam Cole in a match. The idea was interesting and as expected, it got a green signal from Triple H’s side. It was a matter of interest that the Universal Champion decided to target the NXT title after achieving a lot being a part of the WWE's main roster.
WWE RAW: Did Rollins achieve his goal?
The high voltage match between Seth Rollins and NXT champion Adam Cole was interrupted by the NXT roster. Seth Rollins was clearly having an upper hand in the match and it seemed that he would take over the NXT champion Adam Cole but the NXT fighters came in to rescue their champion and poured a heavy assault on Rollins. The RAW roster came into the arena too but the match ended up in vain and it won’t be surprising if Rollins continues his hunt for the WWE NXT title.
