WWE: The Viking Raiders win the Raw Tag Team Championship

Erik and Ivar, collectively kwn as ' Viking Raiders' continued ir unbeaten streak on WWE Raw on Monday night. y defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to become Raw Tag Team Champions. Ziggler and Roode nearly pulled off win many times, including with ir Zig Zag-Spinbuster double-team finisher, but y could t keep two raiders down for long. Erik picked up win after duo hit Ziggler with ir Viking Experience finisher.

War Machine

Originally kwn as 'War Machine' from ir time on independent scene, Viking Raiders pointed out in a post-match interview that y were first team to win Raw, NXT, IWGP Heavyweight and Ring of Hor Tag Team Championships. y are kwn for ir stint in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and Ring of Hor (ROH), where y won  IWGP Tag Team Championship and  ROH World Tag Team Championship. Outside of Ring of Hor, y have also worked for multiple independent promotions in United Kingdom and United States, including Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW), Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW), Progress Wrestling (Progress) and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG). 'War Machine' have also competed in Japan for Pro Wrestling ah (ah).

WWE Career

y signed with WWE in 2018 as Viking Raiders and began performing on  NXT brand where y won  NXT Tag Team Championship once. pair went undefeated throughout ir time in NXT in 2018 and n finally won NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT Takeover in January. Instead of dropping titles, two simply relinquished m when y moved to Raw in April.

w former champions, Ziggler and Roode won title at WWE Clash of Champions. y had defeated Seth Rollins and Brawn Strowman in a well-contested fight. On April 15, 2019, Viking Raiders debuted on Raw as ' Viking Experience'. y relinquished NXT Tag Team Championships at May 1 NXT television tapings. After relinquishing championship, however, Viking Raiders were challenged to one final NXT match for titles by Street Profits. match, however, ended in a disqualification after Forgotten Sons attacked Ivar, followed by an ensuing brawl between teams.
