WWE SmackDown: Viewership ratings goes up after last week’s show

WWE SmackDown saw a rise of its Viewership ratings last week as the blue band show drew an average of 2.617 million viewers in the overnight ratings: Sources

Last week’s blue brand show featured some incredible moments with the match between Roman Reigns and King Corbin highlighting the show. Because of the character-driven episode, WWE saw a rise of its viewership ratings. According to a survey by Showbuzz Daily, the blue band show drew an average of 2.617 million viewers in the overnight ratings. The reports suggest that the first hour of the show drew 2.725 million viewers, while in the second hour the ratings dropped 8% to 2.510 million viewers.

SmackDown was leading the viewership polls on Saturday night as it drew an average of 0.85 ratings in the 18-49 demographic. In comparison to last week’s blue brand show, the ratings were 3.9% high. Last week, SmackDown drew an average of 2.520 million viewers with a 0.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Given below are some matches/segments which may have something to do with gathering more viewers.

WWE SmackDown: Roman Reigns Vs King Corbin

After leading Team Hogan to victory, Roman Reigns faced King Corbin on SmackDown. Corbin had been on Reigns' radar since the day he stopped Reigns from winning the Intercontinental Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura. In this week’s match, Reigns came to the ring with revenge in his mind but lost the match as former tag team champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode interfered.

WWE SmackDown: The Fiend attacks Daniel Bryan

After weeks of word fights, Daniel Bryan finally got a chance to confront Sami Zayn in this week’s blue brand show. But, he was not successful to speak his mind when the current WWE Universal Champion “The Fiend” showed up from behind and attacked Bryan with his mandible claw. The segment ended with the Lights fading to black and the laughter of Fiend filling the screen.

WWE SmackDown: Tyson Fury returns to the WWE ring

After defeating Braun Strowman at the WWE Crown Jewel, boxer Tyson Fury made his return to the blue brand show. Fury called out Strowman and revealed that Strowman is one of the toughest opponents he has faced in his career. The segment ended with both the superstars shaking each other’s hand and destroying 'The B Team'.
