WWE: Vince and Undertaker attend the Riyadh season opening ceremony

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and The Deadman Undertaker recently visited Saudi Arabia to attend the Riyadh Season Opening Ceremony. According to US media reports, the WWE legends were there as guests for the Riyadh Season Opening Ceremony which happened last week. The opening ceremony also featured a big parade and footage from the parade was also aired on the latest episode of RAW to promote the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV. In the footage, some people from the parade can be seen wearing WWE props and many were also seen dressed as various WWE superstars. Many fans also visited the parade and were chanting names of their favourite WWE wrestlers.

WWE: Riyadh Season and Crown Jewel

As revealed earlier, WWE Crown Jewel will take place on October 31, 2019, and will be the part of the ongoing Riyadh Season which was kicked off last week. The Riyadh Season is celebrated for two months and this year it started on October 15, 2019, and will end on December 15, 2019. During these two months, the country holds around 10 different festivals to boost its domestic and international tourism. WWE and the Crown Jewel PPV are a really big part of the festival as it attracts a lot of WWE fans. The festival also displays other international brands like Marvel and DC.

This year’s Crown Jewel will be the fourth event in the 10-year-deal which happened between the wrestling company and the Saudi General Sports Authority. The PPV is scheduled to take place at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In India, the PPV can be seen on the Ten Sports Network and will go live on 10:30 PM IST. The kickoff pre-show of the PPV is scheduled to be held on 9:30 PM IST. The show can also be streamed live on the WWE Network.
