Apple Intelligence arrived earlier this week as part of highly-anticipated iOS 18.1 update, marking Tim Cook-led company’s official foray into consumer-facing AI sector. Although Apple’s new AI tools are t as effective as ir counterparts on Google and Samsung smartphones, y still give users of Apple devices something to look forward to and pave way for future Apple ecosystems. In dition to iPhones, Apple Intelligence also works on a slew of iP and Mac devices through latest iPOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 updates.

How to get Apple Intelligence on your device in India

first instance of Apple Intelligence works only when device langu is set to US English, irrespective of user’s region. That means company’s AI features work in India, as well. (Apple will roll out support for Indian English later this year.)

Eligible iPhone, iP, and Mac users first need to he to device settings and downlo latest update. After update has been installed, users will see a new Apple Intelligence & Siri option in Settings. new AI features, however, will t be turned on by default and users will have to get on a waitlist to try Apple Intelligence. To change device langu from English (India) to English (United States), visit Apple Intelligence & Siri settings. w, tap ‘Join Apple Intelligence Waitlist’ and wait for Apple to accept request. After request is approved, Apple Intelligence features will be available.
