Apple's newest AirPods Pro get the meme treatment on social media

Apple's newest addition to its AirPod line-up -- the AirPod Pro -- has already received the meme treatment on social media. Within hours of Apple announcing its expansion into what some are calling miniature hairdryers, memes have flooded Twitter with Twitterati comparing its design with Bellsprout, a Grass+Poison Pokémon. Tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee who runs a channel called MKBHD put the AirPods Pro's promo picture with Bellsprout, Noot Noot Pingu and a hairdryer.

Apple AirPods Pro wireless earbuds feature active noise cancellation in addition to a never-seen-before in-ear design and flexible ear tips. The AirPods Pro succeeds the original AirPods launched in 2016, with its sweat and water resistance capabilities. AirPods Pro will be retailing in the Indian market at a price of Rs 24,900. Meanwhile, the AirPods Pro will be up for grabs in the US starting October 30 at a price of $249. 

AirPods have become one of Apple’s most popular products since it was introduced three years ago. The new design features three sizes of flexible ear tips rather than the hard plastic of the original AirPods. In addition to noise-cancelling, there’s a transparency mode that lets users listen to the noise around them plus music.
