Adobe users will soon be able to live-stream their painting skills

Adobe will soon take care of showcasing of your painting skills. The company is already building a live streaming feature into its creative cloud apps.

Game streaming has grown massively in past couple of years and has mand to garner a huge amount of interest from viewers and obe seems to be looking to replicate that with art. Well, why should only a gamer have all privilege of showing off ir gaming skills? w, obe wants to help its users live-stream ir painting skills. While it's a great chance for an artist to shawacase ir talent, it seems like a great initiative for viewers too, specially if you are an Art lover as watching a painting in making can be hugely calming and satisfying. 

obe building live-streaming into Creative Cloud apps

obe is building a live-streaming feature directly into its Creative Cloud apps. company me an anuncement at its annual obe Max creativity conference. A beta platform is open to select users on obe Fresco, which is a drawing and painting app. What it does is pretty simple. It provides users with an option to host and create a live stream and a shareable link so that anyone can watch you online in real-time and leave a comment on your stream.

In a statement provided to Verge, obe's chief product officer Scott Belsky said "When you see a live stream of someone in our products, you want to kw what tool y’re using — when y use tool and when y stop using it — almost like a form of waveform of video. But imagine a waveform related to what tools people are using, and imagine being able to source all live streams that have ever been done in a particular product, by a particular tool, to be able to learn how people are doing something."

How will that be different from YouTube live-stream?

Live streaming is t new for obe. Currently, it features artists live on obe Live, which is available on platforms like YouTube and Behance. obe says aver watch time on obe Live is more than 66 minutes. However, purpose of live-stream is expected to drive a product decision for company. Meanwhile, obe believes live-streaming feature it wants to build into its Creative Cloud apps will be different, more useful and beyond conventional live-streams on YouTube.
