Apex Legends Joins Call of Duty, others in Ultimate Game Awards 2019

Apex Legends has now received a nomination in the prestigious Golden Joysticks Award for the “Ultimate Game of the Year” category. This game joins other giants.

Apex Legends has now received a nomination in the prestigious Golden Joysticks Award for the “Ultimate Game of the Year” category. The battle-royale title joins the likes of other biggies such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Gears 5, Resident Evil 2. For the uninitiated, the Golden Joysticks awards honours the best games of the year as decided by gamers.

 At this stage, it is worth remembering that last year, God of War by Sony Interactive Entertainment bagged the award in the Best Storytelling category. Fortnite bagged the Ultimate Game of the Year honour. PUBG Mobile won the Mobile Game of the year coveted honour.  

In related news, Apex Legends could hit mobile phones in 2021. This development has seemingly been official, but the exact launch date is yet to surface. This is expected to surface soon. As of now, Apex Legends has turned out to be popular among players. It was launched during February this year. Rival PUBG Mobile is getting a multitude of updates now, these include the likes of the Update 0.15.0 and the Payload Mode.
