Is Google Maps getting the new Incognito Mode? This question has again come to fore because multiple reports have been claiming that the search engine giant has rolled-out the functionality for testing. Now, according to a Droid-Life report, the Incognito Mode could be in seeding currently to select users having registered as part of Google Preview Community. Droid-Life has also put up a Gif image of how the feature looks. Gauging this, it is evident that there would be a manual option to switch on the Incognito Mode. Also, as per Android Police, test users updating to the Maps bearing version number 10.26 could also access the Incognito Mode. Hence, this test rollout – beta could potentially expand in the near future. Once publicly available, this Incognito Mode could be a hit like the various other Google privacy-focused features.
