Facebook to let users customise shortcuts bar inside the app

Facebook will provide users with controls over what features appear on app navigation bar. update is reportedly live for iOS users. According to reports, Facebook for iOS users with latest version of app installed on ir phone are equipped with se latest features. A report has it, a similar feature will be rolled out for Android users in next few weeks.
With recent update, Facebook for iOS users will be able to customise top navigation bar. Users can d or remove options including Marketplace, Watch, Groups, Events, Profile, Friend Requests, News, Today, as well as Gaming and Dating.

In order to use Shortcut Bar Settings options, all users need to do is update ir Facebook app to latest version. Once users update Facebook app to latest version, y can simply tap and hold on any of shortcuts in navigation bar that is at bottom of Facebook homescreen on iOS. ( navigation bar is available at top on Android).
New Facebook feature
As screenshot revealed by TechCrunch shows, Facebook option res: 'Get Events Faster. You w have shortcuts to things you do most, like seeing your upcoming events and finding ors near you.'

Go to More tab > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Shortcuts menu ability to toggle any of Marketplace, Groups, Events and Ps tabs on or off.

User would see a menu pop-up letting m remove that tab entirely, or leave it but disable red tification count overlays. Customisation of this navigation menu inside latest version of Facebook app will clear in navigation bar.

Last year, Facebook said company is looking to allow users to personalise navigation bar based on which utilities and options users use most.
