Google Maps Now More Customized For Electric Vehicle Owners: Lists Availability Of Charging Ports Real Time, With Their Location

If you drive Electric Vehicles (EV), n Google Maps would now display if a charging station is free or not, along with displaying all major EV charging points in your route. In dition to this, you should also be able to view vital information related to EV charging station such as speed of charging ports.  

Now, Google in an official blog post states that new EV-related enhancement would display charging stations from EVgo, SemaConnect, and Chargemaster – across United States of America (USA) and United Kingdom. se charging points would be soon accompanied by Chargepoint.  

By checking about availability of a charging port, you should be able to save valuable time and focus your energies on driving rar than at waiting to charge at se stations. Google also states that latest EV update is currently applicable uniformly across Google Maps app for desktop, Google Android, and Apple iOS mobile devices.  

In this regard, do initiate a search on Google Maps right away and verify if new EV charging points availability indicator has gone live.
