How to check anyone's WhatsApp status without them knowing about it

Once you turn off you read receipts, your friends won't be able to find out that you have seen his or her status.

But remember, disabling read receipts has two-way effect as it also ends up hiding names of those who view your WhatsApp status. Here's everything you need to know about turning off read receipts:

Step 1: Makes sure your WhatsApp is up-to-date. Open WhatsApp.

Step 2: Navigate yourself to Settings > Account.

Step 3: Now, tap the option called Privacy.

Step 4: Scroll down, uncheck the box Read receipts.

Now that you have disabled your read receipts, you can go back to the main window.

Step 5: Create and put out a WhatsApp status.

Step 6: Now, try to find out who all have viewed your status.
