According to Later, as of this week, only users in Cana, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Japan, and New Zealand and selected test groups in US will have access to hide likes on Instagram feature. If a user has been selected for test, y will get a notification on top of ir feed that will inform m about same. As for how to hide likes on Instagram, user will simply have to visit in-app Settings tab where y'll be able to see new option. All y have to do is accept it to enable change.
Henceforth, Instagram users will not be able to see Instagram likes count on any account. As a creator, while y can see ir own engagement and like counts through analytics, y will be able to hide likes on a per-post basis if y want. Since this feature saw two contrasting responses, with one set of crowd being in support of it while or seeing no problem having Instagram like count, platform has announced that at end of day, ball is in users' court and that it's up to m to enable or disable this feature.
