One of the lesser-known things about WhatsApp right now has to be its ability that allows users to share WhatsApp status updates to Facebook stories and other apps. Yes, you read that right. WhatsApp now lets users share their WhatsApp status updates to Facebook stories and other apps like Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram. However, this feature is currently limited to WhatsApp beta users. In this article, we'd be happy to help you get started with this feature so that you can share your WhatsApp status updates with your friends outside WhatsApp. Here's everything you need to know.

How to enroll yourself into WhatsApp beta testing program

Before you proceed, make sure you are a WhatsApp beta user. If you are not a WhatsApp beta user, you need to visit WhatsApp listing on either Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS.

Step 1: Go to Play Store / App Store
Step 2: Search for WhatsApp messenger
Step 3: Scroll down on the app listing
Step 4: Find an option to join WhatsApp beta program
Step 5: Enroll yourself into WhatsApp beta program

If WhatsApp is not accepting any more beta sign-ups at the moment, you can wait for WhatsApp to start accepting new beta applications that usually takes less than a week. Once you are a WhatsApp beta user, you are ready to roll! If you are already a beta user, make sure your WhatsApp is updated to the latest beta version.
