Did you know that you can use Gmail offline even when you are not connected to the internet? Offline access to Gmail is nothing new on smartphones. Gmail’s app for Android and iOS synchronises all your data with your device to enable offline access. But when it comes to browsing Gmail offline using desktop browsers, the procedure is a little different.
Gmail allows users to access their emails offline without internet connectivity or downloading any additional software on their desktop or laptop. We explain how to use Gmail offline on your Windows 10 desktop and macOS systems. The procedure works with any desktop computer irrespective of its operating system, as long as you are using Chrome.

Step 3: Check the option “Enable offline mail.” Choose whether you want to download attachments and for how long you are looking to sync emails offline. You can choose from 7 days, one month and three months.
Step 4: For your account’s privacy and security, you have to decide whether you want to keep offline emails on your computer after you log out of your Google account.

Step 5: “Save changes.”
Do keep in mind that Email resync (for me, it took me around 2 minutes) will be required every time you log out and back in to Gmail. It depends on the number of emails in your inbox.
You can also send an email while browsing Gmail without internet connectivity. However, your email will first go into a new folder called “Outbox.” It will be sent as soon as you are back online.
