How to use Google Hangouts for a video call?

So before you set up a Google Hangout for video conferencing, you will be required to create an event in your Google Calendar. Once that is done, you will be able to invite attendees to meeting, who will receive invitation through an email, alerting m to event and requesting m to RSVP.

How to schedule a Google Hangout meeting?

Step 1: Once you have logged in to your Google account using a Mac or PC, you will need to visit Google Calendar site.

Step 2: In Google Calendar, you will have to on ‘Create’ to d a new event to calendar.

‘Create’ option is located on left-hand side of screen.

Step 3: Enter all required details of event, which include  name of meeting, date and time of meeting, etc.

Step 4: Select ‘d a location or conferencing’ feature and n ‘d conferencing’ to enable Google Hangouts.

Step 5: You will see ‘d guests’ field where you will be required to input email dresses or contact names of those individuals that you wish to invite to your Hangout meeting.

Step 6: After filling all required fields, on ‘Save’ to schedule Google Hangout meet. This will send out invites to all your attendees.

If you wish to invite more people to your meeting after first setup process, it can be done by simply ing on event that appears in your Google Calendar, and enter  ditional emails under 'Guests' tab before ing 'Save'.

How to start a Google Hangout meeting?

Once you have sent an invitation, invitees will be tified of meeting in ir inbox. At time when meeting has been scheduled to take place, users will need to locate said meeting in Google Calenders and join meeting by right-ing on event and selecting 'Join Hangouts Meet'.
