Yes, you read that right. PlayerUnknown's Battleroyale Game famously known as PUBG is not the most popular game, according to US-based digital media company ranker.com. Apparently, PUBG Mobile has lost its leadership crown to a new champion —Call of Duty.

Launched earlier this month, Call of Duty: Mobile has so much more to offer than a mere Battle Royale mode that it has taken over PUBG’s popularity. It has got multiplayer deathmatch, domination, frontier, practice vs AI mode and what not! A battle royale (BR) mode is also available. All these factors, which make the gaming experience better, appear to have turned out well in favour of Activision and Tencent Game's collaborative efforts.

Meanwhile, Minecraft happens to be the third most popular mobile game, followed by Clash Of Clans and Clash Royale.

"These games have two strengths. One is their rich content/media based on high-quality graphics, etc, making them attractive and engaging," Faisal Kawoosa, Founder and Chief Analyst of techARC said while speaking to a news agency. "These games also leverage the social networking behaviour of users. It allows them to multi-play among friends, groups or even unknown associations," he added.
