Siri showed list of schools to 13-year-old kid when told “I’m going to shoot up a school”

He reportedly told Apple's virtual assistant Siri "I am going to shoot up a School." Siri immediately responded with a list of schools in the nearby area where he was at the time. He then took a screenshot of his conversation with Siri and posted it on his social media account.

According to reports, the boy attends Chesterton Middle School in his nearby neighbourhood. Chesterton cops were alerted after the kid posted a screenshot of his conversation with Siri. Chesterton cops notified Valparaiso cops.
When arrested, the boy clarified his post was nothing but a joke. After a necessary investigation, cops revealed the boy had no access to weapons. There was no sign that he had any specific school in mind at the time of commenting.

"The threat is not believed to be credible at this time," Valparaiso Police wrote in their Facebook post.

However, given the fact that school shootings are a serious issue and it gets severe media attention, cops took the post seriously and made a move.
"The male is being detained at the Porter County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of Intimidation," the Valparaiso Police wrote on Thursday.

Cops also put a second boy, 14 years old, behind the bars who was reportedly involved in the incident. According to a report, he supplied photos of weapons that were posted on social media. However, he was not in possession of any weapons at the time of making the post and he also denied posting any threats.
