Snapchat might be making location check-ins even more interesting with these new features

Snapchat was spotted testing a couple of new features called ‘Status’ and ‘Passport.’ Apparently, both features come as an extension to Snap Map, which Snapchat introduced in 2017. Famous tipster Jane Machun Wong shared screenshots in her tweet, offering a glimpse of se features.
According to screenshots shared by Wong, Snapchat Status will allow users to share a Bitmoji describing what y are up to at a certain location. For example, users can share Bitmoji on Snap Map depicting activities like watching TV, playing video games, etc.

Snapchat will n compile all your location check-ins with Bitmoji using ar feature called ‘Passport.’ It will compile all your activities depicted using Bimoji on its Snap map, similar to a private diary.
“Snapchat is testing new Snap Map UI, Status and Passport Status: Check-in Locations with Bitmoji. Passport: Private History of Status, which users can delete singularly,” said Wong in her tweet.
