WhatsApp temporarily disappears from Play Store, users clueless
WhatsApp Messenger, the popular freeware, cross-platform messaging app was reportedly disappeared from Google Play Store in the Netherlands and the UK.

WhatsApp Messenger, the cross-platform messaging app, was reportedly disappeared from Google Play Store in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom on October 11. Peculiarly, it was also not showing up when 'whatsapp' was being searched. Even though it had disappeared, the application was working without any hinderance. The people on the internet quickly noticed the uncanny incident and called it “mysterious”. Moreover, for the users who installed Whatsapp recently but uninstalled it later can see the application in the 'Previously installed app' section. Moreover, the reason behind the disappearance still remains unclear.

While most of the users from the Netherlands and UK were surprised and clueless about Whatsapp being disappeared, others took that time to share hilarious posts about the application. One of the users compared it to an incident of lovers spat, where the ex-partner finally lets go of the relationship and “blocks the other half”. Some internet users also said that it is now time to shift to other applications for free-messaging.

Research firm Sensor Tower has published its list of top apps worldwide for September 2019 by downloads. As per the data, WhatsApp was the most downloaded app worldwide in September. In August, however, TikTok was the most-downloaded app, ranking above WhatsApp. But that swiftly changed with TikTok losing its top position to WhatsApp over the course of a month. WhatsApp was the most downloaded mobile app worldwide for September 2019. Sensor Tower data shows WhatsApp had close to 68 million installs in September. In September, the most number of downloads for WhatsApp was from India at 34 percent, followed by Indonesia at 4 percent.
