According to a report on WABetaInfo, WhatsApp Desktop was used by company for testing new update, but it will work on a second mobile device as well. re is also a high possibility, that WhatsApp will allow or mobile devices to be connected to user's main device following WhatsApp desktop. Once new WhatsApp update is rolled out, Internet connection will t be needed to use WhatsApp Desktop.

WABetaInfo report also suggests that WhatsApp is working to create an interface on Android app and on WhatsApp for iOS. It is still unclear if this new WhatsApp update will support across Android and iOS devices. But WABetaInfo report also suggests that WhatsApp has been working on converting iOS database to one that’s compatible with Android format alongside this new update.
