WhatsApp has ded a most-awaited feature that lets users watch YouTube and Facebook videos without leaving chat interface, courtesy of Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode. Initially, WhatsApp Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature was me available to beta users a couple of months ago. Since n, feature was expected to hit masses. WhatsApp for iOS users have been enjoying Picture-in-Picture feature since January.
What this feature does is allows users to watch Facebook, Instagram and YouTube videos in a small video at bottom of ir chat interface. This way, users can watch videos, navigate through WhatsApp and continue chatting with ir friends, all at same time. WhatsApp ds this feature to its stable Android app version 2.18.380.
It should be worth ting that Picture-in-Picture feature works with both groups as well as individual chats. Previously, users enrolled in WhatsApp Messenger for Android beta program were required to keep ir app updated in order to receive feature. Going forward, users longer need to do anything manually in order to activate feature.

How to enable WhatsApp Picture-in-Picture mode
Below is step-by-step guide on how to start using WhatsApp Picture-in-Picture feature right w:
Step 1: Keep your WhatsApp up-to-date. Make sure you have latest version installed. Go to Google Play Store and search for WhatsApp Messenger.
Step 2: To see if feature is enabled for you, go to YouTube/Facebook/Instagram and share some video with any of your WhatsApp contacts.
Step 3: If everything goes well as expected, you shall see a play button on video thumbnail right within chat interface.
Step 4: Once you hit play button and you can w play any YouTube video right inside WhatsApp.
