YouTube Charts featuring India-specific trending music lists are now live. This repository includes the likes of popular artists, songs and video content from across the world. YouTube Charts is now live in as many as 56 countries along with that of the global version. YouTube Charts also features the chart-topping “Teri Meri Kahani” by Ranu Mandal.
Indian artists top charts at YouTube Charts
The last year witnessed a multitude of Indian artists such as Guru Randhawa, Badshah, Arijit Singh and Neha Kakkar reaching the YouTube music country charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand including global charts This week, Ranu Maria Mondal’s song ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ for Himesh Reshammiya’s upcoming film has reportedly been topping Global Charts on, with more than 138 million views and counting. YouTube Charts are incorporated also within YouTube Music, highlighting Top 100 most played songs, and Top 100 music videos globally and locally and Top 30 Trending chart. This week’s India Charts is topped by Arijit Singh’s Pachtaoge, Jass Manak’s Lehanga, and Psycho Saiyaan, Lyor Cohen, Global Head of Music at YouTube, stated "I'm convinced we're in the golden age of music in India.
