YouTube has decided to remove 'violent' and 'mature' videos targeting children. As first spotted by Verge, YouTube will monitor video titles, tags and description to pull plug on such videos. Up until w, YouTube would only -restrict videos deemed violent or unsafe for mirs. However, this could change pretty soon since YouTube alrey anunced news via YouTube Help Community Forum a couple of days ago. Here's what we kw:

"On August 21, we expanded our child safety policies to better protect family experience on YouTube. Content that targets young mirs and families but contains sexual mes, violence, obscene, or or mature mes t suitable for young audiences, is t allowed on YouTube."

YouTube has me it clear that sexually explicit content featuring mirs and content that sexually exploits mirs is longer allowed on YouTube.
"We report content containing child sexual abuse imry to National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, who work with global law enforcement ncies," said YouTube.

In dition to videos showing dangerous acts involving mirs or infliction of emotional distress on mirs, YouTube also warned against uploing misleing family content. For example, ult cartoons.
"This includes family-friendly cartoons that target young mirs and contain ult or -inappropriate mes such as violence, sex, death, drugs etc," YouTube ded.
30-day grace period
YouTube's decision to weed out violent and mature videos pretending to be kid-friendly comes amid mounting pressure on Google-owned video platform to create a safe environment for mirs. YouTube has allowed offenders a 30-day grace period to learn from ir mistakes and stop repeating same mistakes again and again. Following a grace period, YouTube will start banning offenders. YouTube will remove videos that include sex, death or violence. In short, YouTube will remove any video that is deemed inappropriate for youngsters.
