Google's Gemini Live gets support for Hindi and 8 Indian languages
Google today hosted the 10th edition of its Google for India event wherein it announced that its Gemini Live chatbot is getting support for Hindi.

Gemini Live update: Google today hosted 10th edition of Google for India event in New Delhi. At event, Google announced a major update for its Gemini Live mobile assistant. company today announced that it is rolling out support for Hindi to its on-mobile Gemini Live AI assistant. With this update, smartphone users will be able to interact with Gemini Live in Hindi, just as y do in case of English.
In dition to this, company announced that it will roll out support for eight more Indian languages to Gemini Live in coming months. list of supported languages includes Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Kanna, Malayalam, Gujarati and Urdu.

"Wher it’s brainstorming or a practice session for your next job interview, have free-flowing conversations with Gemini Live, now rolling out in Hindi," Google Search's GM for Health, Hema Budaraju said at event.
For unversed, Gemini Live is a smartphone-based artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot that enables users to interact with Google's Gemini AI model. company has announced Gemini Live back in August this year. “You can keep talking with Gemini app in background or when your phone is locked, so you can carry on your conversation on go, just like you might on a regular phone call,” it h said while announcing on-device AI chatbot. However, at time, Gemini Live was available only to Gemini vanced subscribers in English. But now, Google has expanded support to Hindi. However, it remains to be seen if feature will be restricted to Gemini vanced users or if company will make feature available generally to all users.
