Donald Trump calls Sundar Pichai a 'great', 'smart' guy

Donald Trump has labelled Sundar Pichai, Chief Executive Officer of Alphabet (Google’s parent company), a “great” and “smart” guy in a political rally. dressing his followers in Pennsylvania, former president and Republican candidate for upcoming Presidential Elections in US said “ he of Google” praised him for what he did with McDonald’s – world’s largest fast food restaurant chain.

“I actually got a call from Sundar, Sundar, who’s great, from Google, he’s a great guy, very smart. he of Google. And he said, “Sir I just want to tell you, what you did with McDonald’s was one of single biggest events we’ve ever h at Google,” Trump said at campaign rally. Trump visited a McDonald’s outlet in Pennsylvania and served customers as part of his campaign earlier this month.

Trump’s positive comments on Pichai come close on heels of his criticism of Alphabet’s CEO where he alleged that Google obscured results for people trying to find information on him. In an interview with Bloomberg, former US president threatened to “do something” about Google without specifying what. He emphasised that how “b stories” about him surface more on Google.

“Google’s got a lot of power. y’re very b to me. Very, very b to me. I can speak from that standpoint,” he told publication. “y only have b stories… in or words, if I have 20 good stories and 20 b stories, and everyone’s entitled to that, you’ll only see 20 b stories. I called he of Google or day and I said, “I’m getting a lot of good stories lately, but you don’t find m in Google.” I think it’s a whole rigged deal. I think Google’s rigged just like our government’s rigged all over place,” he ded.

Previously, Trump’s running mate JD Vance h called for breaking up Google.
