Donald Trump 's historic victory in 2024 US Presidential Elections to become America's 47th President has received applause from who's who of techlogy sector. Elon Musk, who has been vouching for Trump since former President anunced his candidacy and campaigning for him, has hailed results and American citizens for choosing Republican candidate over his opponent Kamala Harris from Democratic Party.

"Let that sink in," he wrote referring to unexpected sway in favour of Trump, despite criticism. Musk, who has time and again said that Trump will be a better President for US than Harris, reiterated that Americans voted for “free speech.” Musk said, “Yes” to one of user's posts that reads: “Free speech won this election, and this election will save free speech.”
