According to international media reports, California-based company will introduce new policies in a bid to ensure that employees refrain from participating in such conversations unless y are directly sought out.
Bloomberg quoted a Facebook spokesperson, Pamela Austin saying that based on what seniors have heard from ir employees, y currently want ‘option’ to join such debates on social as well as political issues as opposed to seeing such discussions ‘unexpectedly’ in ir work feed. refore, as per Austin, social network has decided to update employee policies along with or work tools to ensure company’s ‘culture remains respectful and inclusive’.
