Twitter CEO Elon Musk denies reports that the social media networking platform Twitter has removed the Suicide Prevention Feature from its platform.

Twitter head Elon Musk has denied reports that social media networking platform Twitter has removed Suicide Prevention Feature from its platform. This comes amid reports claiming that Twitter’s head of Trust and Safety said that feature was ‘temporarily’ paused. Responding to reports on Twitter, Tesla CEO wrote, “False, it is still re”.
According to Daily Mail UK, on Saturday a news ncy reported that social media platform has removed a feature that “promotes suicide prevention hotlines”, y stated that move was “ordered by new owner Elon Musk”. Suicide prevention feature is kwn as #reIsHelp, which directs users to all available support services if any user attempts to search terms like “suicide” or or mental health issues. According to Daily Mail UK, feature is related to HIV, vaccines, sexual exploitation, -based violence, etc. feature also helped users during pandemic since it updated users about latest COVID-19 information.

Twitter witnessed major backlash following reports

In past, Musk has also criticised previous Twitter administration’s “handling of issue”.
