Apple 2024 event: Apple is set to host 'It's Glowtime' on September 9. At the event, the company will launch its next-generation smartphones, smartwatches and TWS earbuds. Besides announcing the iPhone 16 series, Apple Watch Series 10 and the Apple AirPods 4, the company is expected to make major announcements regarding Apple Intelligence -- the generative AI capabilities that the company announced at WWDC 2024 this year.

Ahead of Apple 's It's Glowtime event, here's everything we know about the Apple's upcoming device lineup:

Apple iPhone 16 series

The iPhone 16 series is expected to be one of the highlights of Apple 's It's Glowtime event. The iPhone 16 series will include four iPhone models -- the iPhone 16, the iPhone 16 Plus, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max. All these iPhone models are tipped to be powered by Apple's upcoming A18 chipset and run iOS 18. They are also expected to bring Apple Intelligence to more users. Apart from this, the company is expected increase the size of iPhone 16 pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to get a bigger 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus are expected to come in 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch display variants, which is the same as the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 15 Plus.

The iPhone 16 pro models are also expected to get a bump in terms of the camera. The iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are likely to get a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens along with an improved telephoto lens.

Apple Watch series 10

Apple is also expected to announce major upgrades to the Apple Watch Series 10 or the Apple Watch Series X at its upcoming event. Reports suggest that the Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to come with a slimmer design and a more powerful S10 chip. It will run the Apple WatchOS 11. In addition to this, the Watch Series X is also likely to get bigger displays this year. While the 41mm display is expected to measure 45mm this year, the 45mm display is expected to measure 49mm this year.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

Apple is also expected to upgrade its Apple Watch lineup this year. However, it is expected to get iterative updates with the watchOS 11 and Apple Intelligence.

Fourth generation Apple AirPod

Apple is also likely to launch a new pair of AirPods at the event. The fourth generation AirPods are expected to come with USB Type-C charging support and a shorter stem.
