Apple’s free AirPods offer in India ends September 30

Apple ’s offer where Mac customers in India are eligible for a free pair of AirPods will discontinue later this month. Launched in June, the offer allowed “eligible” Mac customers to receive Apple Credit equal to the price of eligible AirPods. The company has started highlighting the offer on the Apple Store Online and its end date of September 30. The promotional offer of a free Apple Pencil Pro with an iPad will also end on September 30, per the online store.

On its online marketplace, Apple India said Mac buyers who avail of the education savings service are only eligible for the free AirPods offer. In other words, students or users with a valid university or institute card are eligible.

While Apple will not hand out AirPods complimentarily with a new Mac purchase, it will credit an amount equal to the preferred AirPods model to the buyer’s account. Customers need to add the AirPods along with the Mac to the basket, which will reflect the full price. However, Apple will automatically apply the “Promotion Savings” to the transaction instantly at the time of purchase.

“Qualified Purchasers who purchase an Eligible Product and a Promotion Product within a single transaction during the Promotion Period shall receive a discount equal to the value of the Promotion Savings off the cost of the Eligible Product,” said Apple .

Apple will offer a free pair of AirPods 4 (ANC), AirPods 3 (Lightning), AirPods 3 (MagSafe and USB-C), AirPods Pro 2 (MagSafe), and AirPods Max with a purchase of a new iMac, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. Mac mini buyers will be eligible for AirPods 2, AirPods 4 (USB-C), AirPods 3 (Lightning), AirPods 3 (MagSafe), AirPods 4 (ANC), AirPods Pro 2 (MagSafe and USB-C), and AirPods Max.

Similarly, iPad buyers using Education Savings are eligible for a free Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C). The offer applies to iPad Pro M4 11-inch, iPad Pro M4 13-inch, iPad Air M2 11-inch, and iPad Air M2 13-inch.

Apple has noted that customers who go for this offer cannot club other offers, such as no-cost EMI or cashback on bank cards, on their purchase of a Mac or iPad.
