DC's Aquaman surpasses The Dark Knight Rises, but still falls six titles behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Directed by James Wan, 2018's fantasy fiction Aquaman becomes the highest-grossing DC film of all-time surpassing the previous record holder: The Dark Knight Rises. Aquaman has reached the worldwide box office collection of $1.09 billion (approximately Rs. 7,747.17 crores), surpassing The Dark Knight Rises' worldwide box office collection of $1.084 billion (approximately Rs. 7,704.53 crores).

Starring Jason Momoa, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe, Aquaman is rated with 7.4 stars on IMDb at time of writing this. However, for Warner Bros. studio, Aquaman is w second biggest hit of all-time worldwide following Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows – Part 2, which les charts at $1.341 billion (roughly Rs. 9,529.81 crores). Aquaman secures 24th rank in highest-grossing film of all-time.

In overall global ranking, Aquaman still falls six titles behind Marvel Cinematic Universe including Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel's Avengers, Avengers: of Ultron, Black Panr, Iron Man 3 and Captain America: Civil War. Although this gives James Wan-directed Aquaman reason to glorify ir accomplishment, y should keep in mind where do y stand in terms of competition.

According to Deline, folks over at Warner Bros. are planning to persue Wan into leing development of sequel to Aquaman, which will be a tedious task. First things first, he'd want to select writers to come up with script before determining wher to direct prequel or t. Wan has alrey proved what he is capable of. In last three years, Wang has pushed two films over $1 billion-mark including 2015's Furious 7 grossing $1.156 billion.
