Infinix teases its first foldable phone, key specifications leaked
According to a report, the Infinix Zero Flip will measure 16.04mm in the folded state – 4mm thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Infinix has started teasing that it is ready to launch its foldable smartphone. Called the Zero Flip, the company’s upcoming foldable device will use a flip mechanism and rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Motorola Razr 50. While the teasers offer a peek at the Infinix Zero Flip, the company has not revealed the phone’s launch date. And while its specifications are also not official, a new report has suggested the Zero Flip will be thicker than the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
According to tipster Paras Guglani, the Infinix Zero Flip will measure 16.04mm in the folded state – 4mm thicker than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Similarly, it will be 7.64mm thick in the unfolded state, while the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will measure 6.9mm in thickness in the unfolded state. While it may be the thinnest flip phone on the market, the thickness would allow it to have a larger battery. The tipster said the Zero Flip may come with a 4720mAh battery. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 4000mAh battery.
The tipster also shared other key specifications of the Infinix Zero Flip, suggesting it would have a 6.9-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPO main display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the cover display would use a 3.6-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1056x1066 pixels. The Infinix Zero Flip may be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It may come running Android 14-based XOS 14.5. The cameras on the Infinix Zero Flip may include a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. While these two cameras will be located on the cover screen, the main display could come with a 50MP camera inside a punch-hole.
The Infinix Zero Flip may have Rock Black and Blossom Glow colourways, according to the tipster. Previous reports have also said Infinix’s flip phone will have stereo speakers with DTS and Hi-Res Audio support. It will also have TUV certification, but the hardware for which the certificate has been obtained is unclear.
