Infinix ZERO 40 5G launched with 50MP selfie camera
Infinix ZERO 40 5G's selfie camera is a part of the upgraded camera system on the Infinix ZERO 40 5G with features, such as a GoPro mode.
Infinix has launched the ZERO 40 5G smartphone with mid-range specifications but one aspect stands out. The new smartphone has a 50MP selfie camera, which the company says uses an autofocus sensor for clearer selfies and video calls. The selfie camera is a part of the upgraded camera system on the Infinix ZERO 40 5G with features, such as a GoPro mode that enables integration with GoPro cameras for viewing and controlling video recording modes. The smartphone also has artificial intelligence-based editing features.
Infinix ZERO 40 5G price in India
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G costs Rs 27,999 for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage; and Rs 27,999 for the version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Its colour variants include Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and a special model called Rock Black that the company has co-created with WGSN. The sale begins at 7 pm on September 21 from Flipkart with a Rs 3,000 bank card discount offer.
Infinix ZERO 40 5G specifications
Featuring Android 14-based XOS 14.5 software, the Infinix ZERO 40 5G will be eligible to receive OS upgrades up to Android 16 and support three years of security patch updates. It boasts a 6.78-inch full-HD+ AMOLED curved display with a 1080x2460-pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The display is shielded by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has a fingerprint sensor under it. An octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G processor powers the Infinix ZERO 40 5G, paired with a Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. It has 108MP cameras on the back with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50MP front camera. Both cameras can record videos at 4K 60fps.
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging, 20W wireless charging, and 20W reverse wireless charging standards. The phone is also IP54-rated for dust and water resistance. Its connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-C, and NFC, which facilitates contactless payments. The stereo speakers on the Infinix ZERO 40 5G are tuned by JBL Sound.
