Apple has launched an all-new entry-level iPad, replacing sixth-generation variant with a seventh-generation version that comes with a bigger screen and smart connector support – in time for Apple Arcade. entry-level iPad is meant for those looking to own an iPad – which is possibly only tablet that matters today – but without burning a hole in ir pocket. This one also retains Apple Pencil support (like sixth-generation) and even though this is limited to first-generation Apple Pencil which is infamous for its silly charging, at least you have option. 

In case you’re wondering, here are iPad 7th Gen India prices: 

-Wi-Fi 

32GB: Rs 29,900 

128GB: Rs 37,900 

-Wi-Fi + Cellular 

32GB: Rs 40,900 

128GB: Rs 48,900 

Apple Pencil and smart keyboards will be sold separately. 

Apple iPad 7th Gen specs and features 

seventh-generation iPad has same look and feel as sixth-generation iPad – it has same core hardware as well, which is Apple’s A10 Fusion chipset. It has a bigger screen though. While sixth-generation iPad came with a 9.7-inch screen, seventh-generation iPad comes with a 10.2-inch display. re’s True Tone or Pro Motion here – which is understandable. new iPad has thick bezels on all sided and Touch ID for biometric auntication.  

A useful update though is that new entry-level iPad w supports smart keyboards and t just Bluetooth.  

What is really interesting about new iPad is that it will be first iPad to ship with iPadOS out-of--box. iPadOS is basically iOS 13 plus new iPad-specific features. Some of se new features include, desktop-class browsing on Safari on iPad with native download manr, an even more granular files app with iCloud Drive support for folder sharing, native support for external drives and more deep-down Apple Pencil integration. update also brings cursor support to iPad. 

With new iPad, Apple will be looking at yet ar (affordable) means for buyers to access its Apple Arcade game subscription service.
