iPad Mini 7 with Apple Pencil support goes on sale in India: Check price, top features

iPad Mini 7 sale: Apple launched the iPad Mini 7 with A17 Pro chipset and Apple Pencil support in India last week. Now, almost a week after the launch, the newly launched iPad Mini 7 is available for purchase in the country. Interested buyers can purchase this iPad from Apple's online store, Apple Stores in New Delhi and Mumbai and other offline and online sellers in Space Grey, Purple, Starlight and Blue colour variants.

iPad Mini 7 variant-wise pricing

Apple 's new iPad Mini comes in three storage variants. The base variant with 128GB of RAM is priced at Rs 49,900, while the top variant with 512GB of storage space is priced at Rs 79,900. The iPad Mini is also available in a third 256GB variant that is priced at Rs 59,900 in India.

iPad Mini 7 features and specifications

Coming to the specifications, the iPad Mini 7 sports an 8.3-inch LED backlit Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2266 x 1488 pixels, fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, and 500 nits of peak brightness. In addition to this, the iPad Mini 7 comes with support for Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil with USB Type-C port and Apple Pencil hover.

This newly launched iPad Mini model is powered by the company A17 Pro chipset. This is the same chip that the company used in its last year's iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max smartphones. As mentioned above, it comes in three storage options -- 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. In addition to this, it features support for Apple Intelligence, which is expected to arrive with iPadOS 18.1 update later this month.

Coming to the cameras, the iPad Mini 7 has a 12MP camera in the front with support for 1080p HD video recording capabilities at up to 60fps and image and video stabalisation capabilities. At the back, it has a 12MP wide-angle lens with support for up to 5x digital zoom, auto image stabalisation, cinematic video stabalisation, and slow motion and time lapse modes. The rear camera supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps.

On the audio front, the iPad Mini 7 has landscape stereo speakers and dual microphones for calls, video recording and audio recording. Coming to connectivity, the iPad Mini 7 has dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3.
