iPhone 15 vs iPhone 16: Apple launched the iPhone 16 at Apple Park last night. This new iPhone model is the successor to the iPhone 15 that was launched last year, and it brings significant updates to Apple's iPhone lineup. In addition to a newer and more advanced chipset, the iPhone 16 brings a longer battery, and Apple Intelligence support to the base-level iPhone model. It also brings new buttons -- Action and Capture -- to the non-pro iPhone model. Apple has made major changes to the design of the iPhone 16 this year. The iPhone 16 comes with a Camera Control and Action buttons. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 lacks both these buttons. Apple had restricted access to the Action button to the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year.

The iPhone 15 comes in Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue and Black colour variants. The iPhone 16, on the other hand, comes in Purple, Green, Pink, White and Black colour variants.

Both the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 15 come with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display. Both the iPhone models offer support for up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness.

The iPhone 16 is powered by Apple 's newest A18 chipset. This chip has been made using the second-generation 3nm processor. The iPhone 15, on the other hand, is backed by the A16 Bionic chipset. It is the same chip that powered the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone Pro Max.

The iPhone 15 offers battery backup of around 20 hours. Apple has increased the battery capacity in the iPhone 16 as it offers a backup of around 22 hours.

The 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variants of the iPhone 16 cost Rs 79,900, Rs 89,900 and Rs 1,09,900 in India. Apple has reduced the price of the iPhone 15 in India. Post the price cut, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variants of the iPhone 15 are available for Rs 69,900, Rs 79,900 and Rs 99,900.
