Apple ’s new iPhone lineups include the standard iPhone 16 and the premium iPhone 16 Pro models. While the company has narrowed the gap between the Pro and non-Pro models this time, they still have several differences. From their design to their features, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro differ in various aspects. Here are the top dissimilarities between the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro.

Display: While the iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, the iPhone 16 Pro uses a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. Both displays have a peak brightness of 2,000 nits.

Chipset: Powering the iPhone 16 is a hexa-core Apple A18 chipset, while the iPhone 16 Pro uses a hexa-core A18 Pro chipset. The standard model uses a 5-core Apple GPU, while the Pro model has a 6-core GPU. Both iPhone models have 8GB of RAM, but the iPhone 16 supports up to 512GB of storage and iPhone 16 Pro has up to 1TB option.

Cameras: The iPhone 16 has two cameras, using a 48MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with sensor-shift optical image stabilisation (OIS). On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro has three cameras, featuring a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 12MP periscope telephoto sensor. They both have a 12MP wide camera inside the Dynamic Island. All cameras support up to 4K video recording with Dolby Vision and HDR, but only the Pro model supports up to 120fps videos in 4K resolution.

Battery: While Apple does not reveal the battery capacity of iPhone models, it announced that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro support 25W wired and 15W wireless fast charging speeds.
