Next Samsung Galaxy S Smartphone Could Offer 6 Cameras and 5G out of the Box

The next-gen Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, the purported Galaxy S10 is now said to come with an unprecedented 6 cameras and even 5G compatibility. This handset is also said to be a monster offering a mammoth 6.7-inch display and wireless charging capabilities.

As per a Wall Street Journal report, quoted by Cnet, the Galaxy S10 (with speculated codename Beyond) would most likely even start shipping in 2019. The smartphone is also rumoured to come out in three variants expected to be showcased during Samsung's next year’s tenth anniversary event commemorating the Galaxy smartphone premium handsets lineup.

At this juncture, it is worth noting that Cupertino-based Apple commemorated its tenth iPhone anniversary by announcing the launch of the iPhone X (which has since been discontinued). Hence, there could be grand plans from Samsung to mark the premium Galaxy smartphones’ tenth year in operation. So, the speculated Galaxy S10 (rumoured to feature 6 cameras) may not be an exaggeration as of now.

Obviously, the highlight of the Galaxy S10 for no is its rumoured 6-cameras. Here, rumor mills are abuzz with 4 cameras being incorporated at the back and 2 cameras at the front of the Galaxy S10. The handset’s speculated three variants would apparently be defined based on the size of the display; ranging from 5.4-inches to 6.7-inches.

The latter is also said to be 5G-compatible. Here, it is worth noting that 5G wireless network standards are hugely expected (by the technology community) to be commercially rolled out in 2019. With this, there could be the alleged Samsung Galaxy S10 actually shipping with the new network standards.

For now, Samsung is also speculated to launch multiple edition of the Galaxy S10 in an event in February; with the 5G-compatible ( 6 camera) variant’s launch rumoured to take place later in 2019. Samsung is yet to come out with official statements regarding the launch of its purported Galaxy S10 next year.
