OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus TV  and we are getting some teasers every now and then. Today we got a glimpse of the remote for the much awaited smart TV. The sleek design of the remote controller is a rather evolved version of the remotes that come with the new smart televisions. An image of the OnePlus TV remote was shared by CEO Pete Lau on Twitter. USP of this remote apart from its seemingly simple metal body design (and form factor) is its USB Type-C interface. It also has Google Assistant (a dedicated button), a main menu button, what looks like a select and back button and also has volume rockers on the side.

Finally, OnePlus TV’s launch seems imminent. In this regard, if you are a Oneplus loyalist, it is definitely worth remembering that the logo of the smart TV is inspired (according to OnePlus itself) by the ancient Hindu symbol – the Mandala; and the Heraoin of Argos temple in Greece. Then, there are also patterns of classic Geometric progression. In tandem with these aspects, the OnePlus TV’s other major feature also came to fore recently and this includes the likes of the OnePlus TV supporting Dolby Vision support, along with that of packing in as many as 8 speakers. Rumour mills have been touting the release date of the OnePlus Tv to be 26 September in India.
