PS5 Pro, PS5 get PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection as PlayStation turns 30

PlayStation turns 30: Sony's PlayStation gaming console is turning 30. To mark the milestone, the company has announced the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection that includes the PlayStation 5 Pro console, PlayStation 5 Digital Edition gaming console, PlayStation Portal, and DualSense Edge Wireless Controller.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection takes its design inspiration from the first PlayStation gaming console that was launched in 1994. The console and the wireless controllers come in grey colour variant with a multi-coloured PlayStation logo that are reminiscent of the first-generation PlayStation gaming console.

30th Anniversary PS5 Pro, PS5 price and availability

Sony has said that the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be released on November 21 and that the company will be making limited units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle. The company has confirmed that it will release just 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle, each of which will come with limited edition numbers etched onto the unit.

As far as availability is concerned, Sony said that PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products will be available for pre-orders from September 26 in the countries where PlayStation Direct is available. The company hasn't confirmed if the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection products will be available in India. Additionally, Sony is yet to confirm the pricing of its special edition consoles.
