Realme P2 Pro debuts with curved AMOLED display alongside Pad 2 Lite

Realme has added a new smartphone in the P-series with the P2 Pro. The Realme P2 Pro has specifications belonging to the mid-range, such as a curved AMOLED display, AI-powered cameras, and 80W fast charging on the battery. At the event, the company also announced Realme Pad 2 Lite, a new Android tablet with a 90Hz display with 2K resolution.

The P2 Pro boasts a 6.7-inch full-HD+ 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It uses Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and has a fingerprint sensor embedded under it. Powering the phone is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Its rear cameras include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The selfie camera on the smartphone houses a 32MP sensor. The P2 Pro is IP65-rated and comes with a 5200mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

Realme’s new P2 Pro costs Rs 21,999 for the 8GB+128GB storage option, Rs 24,999 for the variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and Rs 27,999 for the option that has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It will come in Eagle Grey and Parrot Green colours. Customers can get Rs 2,000 off on the price in the early bird sale, scheduled to take place between 6 PM and 8 PM on September 17 on Flipkart and Realme’s online store.

Realme Pad 2 Lite price, specifications

This budget Android tablet from Realme is a trimmed-down version of the Realme Pad 2. It has a 10.95-inch full-HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. Realme claims the tablet will offer an immersive movie-watching experience on the big display with the help of quad speakers that use OReality technology. Powering the tablet is an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Customers can increase the storage through a microSD card. Keeping the light on is an 8300mAh battery.

The Realme Pad 2 Lite costs Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM variant and Rs 16,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. Its colour options include Space Grey and Nebula Purple.
