Samsung Galaxy Ring arrives in India with support for Galaxy AI: Top features, India price
Samsung today launched the Galaxy Ring in India. It was announced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones in July 2024.

Samsung Galaxy Ring launch: Samsung launched its first smart ring, dubbed as the Samsung Galaxy Ring, in India today. It was announced alongside the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July this year and now the smart ring is finally available for purchase in the country.
With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, the company has entered the niche market of smart rings, which includes similar products by companies such as Boat, Ultrahuman and Amazfit.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: India price, availability
The Samsung Galaxy Ring is available in sizes varying from 5 to 13 in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold colour variants.
It starts at Rs 38,999 in India and is available for purchase via Samsung India e-shop, Amazon India, Flipkart and select retail stores. As a part of the limited time offer, Samsung is offering a no-cost EMI at Rs 1625 per month for up to 24 months.
Samsung Galaxy Ring: Top features
On the specifications front, the Galaxy Ring comes with a host of sensors including accelerometer, optical heart rate sensor, and a temperature sensor. It runs on Zephyr RTOS and has Bluetooth 5.5 for connectivity. Samsung says that this smart ring comes with 8MB of storage space. Samsung's newly launched smart ring comes with titanium finish and IP68 dust and water-resistant coating. It is backed by a 18mAh battery that can last for up to six days.
Coming to the features, the Samsung Galaxy Ring offers 24 x 7 health monitoring with features such as sleep tracking, sleep score, snore analysis, sleeping heart rate tracking, sleeping heart rate variability tracking, heart rate monitoring, auto detection feature for workouts, and inactive alerts. It also features support for Galaxy AI, which the company says generates a detailed health report that includes metrices such as energy score. Additionally, it supports gesture controls. The Galaxy Ring works with the Samsung Galaxy Watch and shows all the health-related metrices and insights in the Samsung Health app.
