In what could be an embarrassing moment for the e-commerce giant Amazon, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has accused Amazon of duping her for Rs 18,000. Sonakshi tweeted a picture of what she describes as a legit box of Bose headphones from outside but inside, as we can see from the picture, was far from a Bose headphone or any headphone really!

According to Sonakshi's tweet, the actress purchased Bose headphones on Amazon. However, what she received instead is something that looks like a water tap valve. Sinha sarcastically vented her frustration on Twitter.
While tagging official Twitter handle of both Bose and Amazon India in her tweets, Sonakshi explained the whole situation to her followers.

This is what Sonakshi wrote in her tweets:

“Hey @amazonIN! Look what i got instead of the @bose headphones i ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit... but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesnt even want to help, thats what makes it even worse.”

Sonakshi further added:

“Anybody want to buy a brand new shiny piece of junk for 18,000 bucks? (Yup, its a steal) Dont worry, im selling, not @amazonIN, so ull get exactly what you’re ordering.”

In its official statement, Amazon apologises to Sonakshi. Amazon also says that they have resolved the issue. Here is what the company has to say:

“As a customer-centric company, we take great care in the safe delivery of our customer packages. While we are investigating this incident, we have resolved the issue for the customer and regret the inconvenience caused.”
