Available in six colours and two case sizes (41, 43 mm), the Fossil Sport when paired with nylon make it “the lightest smartwatch to date,” according to Fossil. There will also be an option to pair the Sport with as many as 28 silicone straps. The Fossil Sport is further powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor that is claimed to offer smooth performance as well as “more than a day’s worth of battery life.” An in-built battery saving mode is said to add “an additional two days of telling time.” The Fossil Sport also supports fast charging.

The Fossil Sport was recently worn by Google CEO Sundar Pichai at the Google I/O keynote event – leading to speculation if he was wearing the yet-to-be-announced Pixel Watch.
YouTuber Marques Brownlee, more popularly known as MKBHD, was possibly one of the first few to spot the smartwatch and be curious about it. Soon after, MKBHD asked Twitterati to ID Pichai's ‘mysterious’ smartwatch and someone did ID Pichai's ‘mysterious’ smartwatch, successfully. As it turned out, Pichai’s smartwatch had a Fossil connection – something that was later verified by Fossil as well.
